Special Bonuses Next Week to Celebrate Launch of New Jewels of the Ancients Slot Machine with Bonus Game

Vampires, bats and gargoyles provide the ominous theme for our new Jewels of the Ancients slot machine. The ghoulish new 19 pay line slot machine has jewels, treasure maps, mystical goblets and even vampire-slaying garlic spinning on its five reels and has a Bonus Game for extra playing time and extra cash prizes up to $1000. We have a special bonus and a free contest this week to celebrate the launch of our twentieth one-of-a-kind game.

Until 10th April, all players that log on to Slotland.com will find an extra $12 deposited in their account just to try out the new Jewels of the Ancients game and every spin on the new game will earn one ticket in a free Vampire Draw. On April 13th we will randomly select one player to win $500, another 2 players will receive $250 each, 7 will get $100 each and ten more lucky players will win $50 each. (Terms and conditions are posted on the site.)

Three Full Moon symbols trigger the bonus round on the new Jewels of the Ancients game. (The moon is a scatter symbol and pays out no matter where it is located.) In the bonus game, players turn over cards trying to reveal as many different Bonus Symbols as possible. Collecting all six golden symbols – a bat, fallen angel, gargoyle, ankh cross, Nosferatu the Vampire and Dracula -- wins $1000.

It helps to get as many special gold Bonus Symbols during the main game as possible since any that appear on the slots reels are automatically revealed at the start of the Bonus Game giving a head start and increasing chances of winning the bonus cash.

Like all of the slot machines at Slotland, Jewels of the Ancients is tied to the site’s progressive jackpot which is currently about $90,000. The jackpot can be won on any of Slotland’s slots games – on Jewels of the Ancients it takes five Diamonds with minimum $20 bet to win the jackpot

Player Wins $145,864 Online Slot Machine Progressive Jackpot Dreaming of Summer Fun

First major jackpot win on new game with enhanced full screen graphics introduced last summer

We had a feeling it was about to happen and we were right. Old faithful has paid out once again! A Slotland.com player won a $145,864 progressive jackpot playing the Lucky Ducts online slot machine.

“I couldn’t decide which game to play. They’ve got so many now,” said the jackpot winner known as CHACHANG on our site. “I was switching from old favourites like Lucky Stars and Golden 8 and trying out some of the newer games too. I was switching around a bit until I ended up playing Lucky Ducts. It just seemed hot. It wasn’t my favourite game – not until now anyway – but it was a dark, cold winter evening and it just reminded me of summer fun and swimming.”

The winner says he hasn’t had much time to think about how he’ll spend his winnings.

“You daydream about all kinds of things you’d buy if you won, don’t you? Maybe to start with I should stick with the ‘summertime’ thing and take a holiday someplace nice and warm!”

“I like the games at Slotland,” said CHACHANG who has been playing regularly at Slotland.com since May 2008. “And the staff have always been so nice and so helpful.”

Our last big jackpot win was in January when a new player won $104K playing Booster. Since the jackpot pays out so frequently – on average every 6 to 8 weeks – regular players at the site suspected there would be a win.

Although we've had dozens of major jackpot wins at Slotland over the last few years, this is the first big win on Lucky Ducts. Lucky Ducts is a 5 reel, 19 pay line slots game with up to 50x multipliers and lots of chances to win free spins.

Launched just last summer, Lucky Ducts is one of our newest Flash games and features enhanced full-screen graphics and special effects. Its swimming pool theme reminds winter-weary players of the golden days of summer with rubber duckies, beach balls and toy fish spinning on its watery wheels. 3 Water Faucet symbols at a time raise the Bonus Reservoir one level and increase the win multiplier to x2, x5, x10, x25 and finally x50. Players get 6 free spins when the Bonus Reservoir reaches the top level and overflows.

We've been offering one-of-a-kind slot machines and video poker games for more than twelve years. There are currently 19 instant-play casino games to choose from – none of them found at any other online casino.

The progressive jackpot at Slotland was reset to $50,000 after this win. Meanwhile at our other online casino, WinADayCasino.com, the jackpot is over $120,000.

$107,064 Slotland Jackpot Won by Canadian Playing 'Wild Heart' Video Poker

Win comes only weeks after slots and video poker site’s last big jackpot.

The last big winner at Slotland.com has barely had time to spend their $147,711 win and the popular slots and video site’s progressive jackpot has already been hit again. A Canadian player has just won $107,064 playing the Wild Heart video poker game. Wild Heart is one of six slot machines and video poker games now available with enhanced graphics and sound effects.

The Slotland progressive jackpot tends to be won every six to eight weeks for an average of about $150,000. The latest win is less than usual but comes only five weeks after the last win.

“I know some jackpots go years or months without a win, but ours is won quite frequently,” said Slotland.com Manager Michael Hilary. “We don’t usually have to wait very long between wins but we were pretty surprised to have another big jackpot winner again so soon!”

All of the slots at Slotland are tied to the same jackpot. Every time a player plays max bet on any of these games, some of the wager goes into the progressive jackpot pool. Hitting the right combination with a max bet placed wins the progressive jackpot. To win the jackpot on Wild Heart WINNIPEGLEG got a Royal Flush on all three lines when he had a max bet on each line.

“Believe me, I’ve often daydreamed about what I’d do if I won a jackpot,” said the winner. “Now that it’s happened I can't remember any of the wonderful things I wanted to do! I’ll probably donate some to a good cause and invest some of it. But I’m also going to buy a few treats for my wife and myself!”

Wild Heart, a multi-hand video poker game with an exotic jungle theme, is a unique variation of Double Joker video poker. It’s a triple play video poker game where players have a chance to win on several lines at a time. The object is to get the best possible five card poker hand on one or all three lines. There are three 54-card decks, each with two wild cards. The same cards are dealt to all three lines. Players can hold one or more cards and, on the next spin, receive up to five new cards on each line.

There have been many smaller jackpot wins on Wild Heart but this is the largest since May 2008 when a player won $88,000 on the popular video poker game.

Slotland.com currently features 16 one-of-a-kind slot machines and video poker games. Five of the most popular games are also available on mobile phones and PDAs. All of Slotland’s slot machines give players the option of placing a maximum bet for a chance at the progressive jackpot. They’re all instant play casino games with nothing to download or install. Many are now available in Flash format and fully compatible with iPhones.

The jackpot at Slotland was re-set to $50,000 after this win. The jackpot at Slotland’s sister casino, WinADayCasino.com, was also won last month for almost $100,000 and is already over that again.

One of Our VIP Players is Counting Her Lucky Stars After $148,000 Jackpot Win

After inching up slowly all summer, progressive jackpot reached highest in months

One of our oldest and most popular online slots has produced a $148,711 progressive jackpot winner. A player who only started spinning the reels at Slotland.com three years ago hit the massive jackpot playing the Lucky Stars slot machine.

“I’m so excited I can't think straight,” said the winner, known as SOUTHBELLE. “I’m sure not used to having that kind of spending money so I really don’t know what I’ll do with it! I’m terrible for spoiling my family. Can’t help it! So I’ll have some fun with this that’s for sure. First though, my brother has been going through some tough times lately so I’m going to help him with some of the bills that have piled up.”

Lucky Stars is a five-payline slot machine game giving five chances of winning. Each payline which has a bet placed on it can win. Its "Hold" feature appears randomly during play and there is a special bonus round multiplying all wins by 10. Although Lucky Stars is one of the oldest and most popular games at Slotland, it hasn’t had a big progressive jackpot winner since December 2007.

“People play a little less in the summer so the progressive hasn’t increased as fast as it has shot up a few times in the past,” said Slotland Manager Michael Hilary. “But it was worth waiting for I’d say! Last fall it was getting hit pretty well monthly so we weren’t seeing six-figure jackpots like this. We had a $168,476 winner in May but other than that this is our biggest win since last October.”

All of the slots at Slotland are tied to the same jackpot. Every time a player plays max bet on any of these games, some of the wager goes into the progressive jackpot pool. Hitting the right combination with a max bet placed wins the progressive jackpot. In Lucky Stars, a max bet is only $2. If five bars appear on a line with a $2 bet, the jackpot is won.

“I like playing Lucky Stars because there’s a bit of slots strategy involved,” said the winner. “When you get the ‘hold’ feature you have to decide whether or not to keep what you’ve got or take your chances on another spin. Bonus rounds multiply wins so if I feel like I’m close to hitting one I like to make sure I’m betting max to make the most of it.”

Slotland.com currently features 15 one-of-a-kind slot machines and video poker games. Four of the most popular games, including Lucky Starsd, are also available on mobile phones and PDAs. Slotland’s games do not require any downloading or installation as they are all instant play casino games. Some are now available in Flash format with improved graphics and sound.

We reset the jackpot to $50,000 after this win. At WinADayCasino.com, our other online casino whose games are accessible from the Slotland games lobby, the jackpot is currently over $85K.
